BUS DRIVER/SPONSOR RELATIONS:

1.               Communication is important – this works both ways.

2.               Drivers will try to be very flexible to our teams’ needs and to make the trip as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

TRACK and FIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE MEET TRANSPORTATION POLICY

All athletes will travel to and from all meets with the team on the bus.  The only exception to this policy is that an athlete may ride with his or her legal guardian or has filed the ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION FORM with the high school.  The legal guardian or alternative transportation adult must talk to a coach, and sign the ATHLETE CHECK OUT SHEET in possession of one of the track and field coaches stating the date, time, and student-athlete’s name along with the guardian or adult signature.

The ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION FORM through the high school office must be turned in 48 hours before the trip, and signed by the legal guardian, administrator, and the event sponsor.

Competing athletes will not be allowed to ride with friends or other minors to or from a school sponsored event.

We have read the above transportation information, asked for explanation of things we did not understand, and we understand the guidelines and policies.
